Breastfeeding goes social in Twitter chat for Hispanic Heritage Month

MHP Salud and more than a dozen breastfeeding advocate agencies took to Twitter today in a bilingual conversation about breastfeeding under the hashtags #WellnessWed and #DandoPecho. This was set to celebrate Latina breastfeeding traditions during Hispanic Heritage Month.

Organizing agencies MomsRising and Amor Maternal program funder HealthConnect One posed a series of questions to the group, who opened up with their own experiences, challenges and advice when it comes to breastfeeding.

MHP Salud’s own Amor Maternal Program Coordinator Ana Longoria, a mother of four, tweeted out some of her experiences.
