Multiple Full-time-Temporary Positions Available
MHP Salud, a national non-profit agency conducting health education and outreach in underserved and isolated communities, is currently seeking motivated, energetic, organized, and focused Community Health Workers for a program that serves Hidalgo County. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to conducting outreach, carrying out home visits, data entry, diabetes education, making referrals to other community agencies, and giving informational presentations. Ability to read, write, and speak both Spanish and English required. Applicants must also be computer literate and have two years’ applicable work experience.

Although MHP Salud rarely hires part time or temporary employees (in 2017, less than 5% of our employees were part time or temporary),MHP Salud believes in the importance of planning for your future. If you will work over 1000 hours in a calendar year, you are immediately vested in our 403 (B) retirement plan with an employer contribution of 6.5% of your salary with an additional 2% if matched by you. You can contribute as well up to the legal limit for your age. As you are vested in the program immediately, those dollars are yours to take with you upon termination of employment.
Salary range: $16.00-$18.99 per hour.
