MHP Salud implements Community Health Worker Programs to empower underserved Latino communities and promotes the CHW model nationally as a culturally appropriate strategy to improve health.
MHP Salud is a national nonprofit organization that implements and runs Community Health Worker programs. These programs provide peer health education, increase access to health resources and bring community members closer. MHP Salud also has extensive experience offering health organizations training and technical assistance on CHW programming tailored to their specific needs.
Without you, MHP Salud could not deliver our time-tested and effective models of community health outreach.
Our free health resources are culturally and linguistically competent, easy-to-use, and created specifically for CHW programming.
MHP Salud desarrolla materiales que son culturalmente aceptables y fáciles de entender para trabajadores del campo y sus comunidades.
“We had long dreamed of integrating Promotores into our migrant health services…
With the assistance of MHP Salud, that dream became a reality. We rely on MHP Salud for everything from orienting our staff to the Camp Health Aide model, to providing us with ‘user friendly’ training materials, to developing culturally appropriate methods of evaluating community needs and the impact of our peer education activities from the perspective of the Promotores themselves.”
