What Is Included in Amplifying the Community’s Voice?
Community Health Workers are natural advocates for their clients and communities. The Amplifying the Community’s Voice: Advocating session provides participants an understanding of appropriate guidelines for advocacy in the Community Health Worker profession, and equips them with tools to successfully advocate in their role. The objectives for this session are to:
- Define Community Health Worker advocacy
- Understand the process for identifying advocacy needs of clients and the community
- Develop messaging for relevant stakeholders and the local landscape
- Understand the limitations of advocacy by Community Health Workers
This training session lasts 4 hours and can be provided as a live, fully interactive virtual training for $889 or on-site at the location of your choice for $2,709* including all travel costs.
