What Is Included in The Role of Community Health Workers?

Fundamentally, professionals who will be working with Community Health Workers should understand the roles, skills, and personal qualities essential to successful partnership with the CHW role. In the Role of Community Health Workers: Health Superheroes session, participants will reflect on the unique position of Community Health Workers in their organizations and communities and walk away with a better understanding of how they can partner with Community Health Workers to reach mutual goals. The objectives of this session are to:

  • Define Community Health Workers as a profession
  • Identify Community Health Worker roles, skills and personal qualities

This session can be completed individually or as a full Foundations training. If you would like to mix and match sessions to create your own training package, please contact us for additional information.

This training session can be provided on-site at the location of your choice or as a live, fully interactive virtual training.

This training session lasts 2 hours. A virtual training costs $639 and an on-site training is $2,289* including all travel costs.
