What Is Included in Community Health Worker Participation in Community Needs and Resource Assessments?
As bridges to their communities, Community Health Workers are a crucial part of community needs and resource assessments. With the Community Health Worker Participation in Community Needs and Resource Assessments training, participants will develop an understanding of the role a Community Health Worker plays in the process and the techniques they can use will enhance a supervisor’s ability to produce a more accurate and productive needs and resource assessment. The objectives of this session are to:
- Define the process of a community needs and resources assessment
- Identify the different roles Community Health Workers can play in a community needs and resources assessment
- Understand how Community Health Workers can lead group discussion on community needs
- Demonstrate how Community Health Workers can utilize community asset mapping
This training session lasts 4 hours and can be provided as a live, fully interactive virtual training for $889 or on-site at the location of your choice for $2,709* including all travel costs.
