What Is Included in The Role of Community Health Workers?

Understanding The Role of Community Health Workers is vital to supporting the CHW profession. With The Role of Community Health Workers: Health Superheroes session, supervisors will leave the training with an understanding of the roles, skills and personal qualities that are essential to effective Community Health Workers. The objectives for this session are to:

  • Define Community Health Workers as a profession
  • Identify Community Health Worker roles, skills, and personal qualities

This training session lasts 2 hours and can be provided as a live, fully interactive virtual training for $639 or on-site at the location of your choice for $2,459* including all travel costs.

This session can be completed individually or as a full Foundations Level training. If you would like to mix and match sessions to create your own training package, please contact us for additional information.

*Includes all travel costs for a training location within the continental United States. Note: travel costs will be prorated if multiple on-site training sessions are purchased for the same location and time period.
