What Is Included in Community Health Worker Self-Care?

Programs staffed by those who practice self-care are more effective and efficient, but practicing self-care is not always easy. In the Community Health Worker Self-Care session, participants will explore how self-care can be individualized and planned to preserve employee productivity. The objectives for this session are to:

  • Understand the purpose and importance of self-care
  • Identify both positive and negative types of stress
  • Understand burnout, compassion fatigue, and the long-term effects of the lack of self-care
  • Identify components of a good self-care plan

This training session lasts 4 hours and can be provided as a live, fully interactive virtual training for $889 or on-site at the location of your choice for $2,709* including all travel costs.

This session can be completed individually or as a full Level I training. If you would like to mix and match sessions to create your own training package, please contact us for additional information.

*Includes all travel costs for a training location within the continental United States. Note: travel costs will be prorated if multiple on-site training sessions are purchased for the same location and time period.
