Roger Brooks brings more than a decade of leadership experience across nonprofit, academic, and healthcare sectors to his role as Director of Evaluation and Quality. With expertise in research design, data analysis, and strategic program development, he leads initiatives that measure and enhance the effectiveness and impact of community health programs. His expertise in mental health, organizational performance, and evaluation practices supports MHP Salud’s mission to improve programmatic outcomes through person‑centered, results‑driven approaches. A skilled communicator and collaborative leader, he is committed to transforming data into actionable insights and ensuring the highest standards of quality across all programs. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Notre Dame.
As Vice President of Operations, Brynna Burguard oversees MHP Salud’s business operations, including finance, technology, quality and evaluation. Under her leadership, MHP Salud has become a recognized leader in comprehensive evaluation of Community Health Worker programming, particularly related to the return on investment of this model.
With more than a decade of service with MHP Salud, Ms. Burguard has been instrumental in the organization’s growth to a national leader in the field. In addition to extensive experience in strategic leadership, operations, risk and quality management, she brings valuable international lessons through several years of working in Peru. Ms. Burguard holds bachelor of arts degrees in sociology and Spanish language and literature from Grand Valley State University and a Master of Public Administration with a Health Care Administration Specialization from Oakland University.

She is a nationally recognized trainer on the Community Health Worker model and effective approaches in public health, and a sought-after expert for health outreach and program implementation in hard-to-reach communities.
Prior to joining MHP Salud’s training and workforce development department, Ms. Coleman spent nearly two decades serving in Florida’s child welfare system, from on-the-ground child protective investigations to foster parent recruitment and training; her intricate understanding of challenges faced by high-risk populations provides her with a unique perspective to help organizations and advocates identify and address key needs within their communities.
Ms. Coleman holds a Master of Public Administration from Troy University and a Bachelor of Science from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. She is also a Certified Child Welfare Protective Investigator and a Certified Life Coach.

With 30+ years of leadership experience in public and private health sectors, Dr. Dante blends personal experience, best practices and research-driven approaches to provide audiences with practical strategies they can implement immediately.Magaly “Maggie” Dante, Ph.D., LMHC, has been at the helm of MHP Salud since 2022, transforming community health in rural and underserved communities through nationally recognized workforce development programs, training and apprenticeship programs, and direct community initiatives. She’s a national expert in organizational culture building and psychological safety, workforce stability, leadership development, and Community Health Worker programming and implementation.
With nearly three decades of leadership experience in health care, mental health and child welfare, Dr. Dante has a track record of elevating quality, maintaining fiscal integrity, and engaging the community in services that lead to improved safety, health and well-being. She is a sought-after speaker, trainer and consultant, a certified family life educator, licensed mental health counselor, and a Florida-licensed qualified supervisor.
Dr. Dante is an active member in several national organizations, including the National Association of Community Health Centers, the National Association of Community Health Workers, the American Public Health Association, the American Society for Public Administration, and National Training and Technical Assistance Partners. She is also on the Policy Committee for the Florida Community Health Worker Association, an active member of the Florida Rural Health Association, and an active contributor to the American Public Health Association CHW Section. She also has been recognized by the Orlando Business Journal with the coveted “Women Who Mean Business” award. Dr. Dante holds a Doctor of Public Policy and Administration from Walden University and a Master of Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University.
As Program Director for the Texas Navigator program, Monica Garcia is responsible for program implementation and oversight. She is a proud Fronteriza with more than 18 years of experience in community-led health education programs and health access initiatives in historically underserved communities. She holds a Master of Arts in Latin American and Border Studies from the University of Texas at El Paso, where her area of study focused on border and rural health.

Driven to use storytelling and communications to help others, Andrea combines the latest data with more than a decade of experience helping nonprofits advance goals through trauma-informed storytelling and creative, cost-effective social media initiatives.Andrea McNally joined the MHP Salud team in 2024 as the Director of Public Relations & Communications. She brings more than 12 years of experience as a communications professional with expertise in public relations, marketing, media relations, digital media strategy and social media management.
Andrea has focused her career in the nonprofit space, where she has been integral in leading multi-faceted campaigns for a variety of causes, including foster parent recruitment, fundraising for educational initiatives, talent recruitment, mental health services and more. She has won national awards for her work in social media and brand development.
Beyond her career, Andrea continues to give back to her community through her service on the board of directors for the Jacksonville Arboretum & Botanical Gardens.

She is a recognized leader in the public relations industry, with two decades of board service to the Public Relations Society of America at the local, district and national levels; she currently serves on the PRSA Board of Ethics and Professional Standards. Bringing together personal experience, research and best practices, Ms. Morgan is a sought-after speaker for brand management, reputation and issues management, and trauma-informed storytelling.
Ms. Morgan holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Integrative Public Relations from Central Michigan University.
Cruselva Peña leads community initiatives and partnerships to improve health and well-being in communities throughout South Texas. Overseeing multiple programs that engage families throughout their health journeys, Ms. Peña supports Community Health Workers in multiple regions, serves as a key spokesperson for MHP Salud in Texas, and elevates collective impact through strategic partnership development. Tapping into a decade of experience overseeing public health projects related to diabetes prevention and management, kidney disease, asthma, and mental health, she blends community expertise with best practices and evidence-informed initiatives to advance public health outcomes.
Ms. Peña holds a Master of Public Health in Health Promotion and Community Health Science from Texas A&M University.
Jill Spannagel, LCSW, brings nearly two decades of experience in social services, health care utilization management, and nonprofit operations leadership to MHP Salud. With expertise in mental health care, case management and child welfare, she has a proven track record in improving health outcomes for children, families and individuals. Ms. Spannagel is responsible for delivering effective, sustainable programming to help individuals and families achieve health, safety and well-being. She leads a team of Community Health Workers throughout Texas and Florida dedicated to supporting individuals and families in their journeys of health and well-being. Ms. Spannagel taps into her breadth of experience to identify unmet community needs, establish strategic partnerships, and implement best practices to bridge gaps in access to health care, digital literacy, safety and well-being. She holds bachelor and master degrees in social work from Aurora University.
