Parents are their child’s first and most influential teachers!
Every child grows and learns in their own way and on their own time.
Skills like exploring their hands, taking a first step and waving “bye bye” are exciting milestones, but it can be hard to know when and why each skill develops … and even harder to know what to do if a skill takes longer to show up.
With the excitement and joy of parenting can also come fear and lots of questions … you’re not alone! Let’s take the journey together.
With Parents as Teachers, MHP Salud Community Health Worker (CHW) Parent Educators — all local Promotora de Salud — will be there to guide you, and a caring community will be by your side every step of the way.
