Full Bio

As Program Director for the Texas Navigator program, Monica Garcia is responsible for program implementation and oversight. She is a proud Fronteriza with more than 18 years of experience in community-led health education programs and health access initiatives in historically underserved communities. She holds a Master of Arts in Latin American and Border Studies from the University of Texas at El Paso, where her area of study focused on border and rural health.
