MHP Salud, a national non-profit agency conducting health education and outreach in underserved Latino communities, is currently seeking a motivated, energetic, organized, and focused Community Health Workers for programs that serve Hidalgo, Cameron, Starr and Willacy Counties. Multiple full-time positions available, up to 40 hours a week. Responsibilities include completing online, self-paced Navigator training and certification, providing application and enrollment assistance, making referrals to other community agencies, conducting outreach, and giving informational presentations. Applicants who can read, write, and speak Spanish and English are strongly preferred; fluency in spoken Spanish is required. Applicants must also be computer literate and have two years’ applicable work experience. Experience working with the community with Colonia residents are highly preferred. Salary range depending on experience (Grade 2 – 4).
