Improving Colorectal Cancer Screening in MSAW Communities Learning Collaborative

Clinical Supervisors and Coordinators, Administrative Staff, Patient Navigators, CHWs, and front office workers

This Learning Collaborative (LC) supports health centers in providing colorectal cancer screenings to migrant and seasonal agricultural workers (MSAWs) at migrant health centers.

There are four sessions that will take place bi-weekly on Tuesdays from 3:00-4:30pm ET.

We'll cover the Community Health Worker (CHW) role in screening for cancer among MSAW populations, health disparities in screening rates of colorectal cancer among MSAW populations, unique barriers and culturally appropriate strategies for promoting colorectal cancer screening among MSAWs and introduce an evidence-based curriculum that can be used to promote colorectal cancer screening among MSAWs.
