MHP Salud, a national non-profit organization dedicated to improving health and well-being, particularly in underserved communities, is seeking a Community Health Worker. This position will be in Bexar, DeWitt, Lavaca, Colorado or Gillespie County, Texas.

Successful candidates will:

· Conduct outreach to increase family health awareness and activities.

· Facilitate small and large group classes for family health awareness and support participant enrollment for these classes.

· Provide resources and referrals to participants who may need assistance enrolling into additional programs.

· Possess strong presentation and communication skills and be comfortable speaking in small and large groups.

· Plan and lead group educational sessions and discussions on assigned health topics, virtually and in-person (program-specific).

· Understand and be part of the community being served and experienced in community work, education, health care, or related field preferred.

· Have the ability to read, write, and speak both Spanish and English; fluency in spoken Spanish required.

· Possess Information Technology skills and understand how to use equipment such as laptops, smartphones, online application systems, Microsoft Office, etc.

Salary Range: $20.50-25.25 per hour, DOE
