We’re currently seeing a Community Health Worker/Parent Educator to join our team. Motivated, energetic, organized, and focused individuals are encouraged to apply. Please see the CHW/Parent Educator job description. Successful candidates will:
• Conduct outreach to increase family health awareness and activities.
• Facilitate small and large group classes for family health awareness and support participant enrollment for these classes.
• Provide resources and referrals to participants who may need assistance enrolling into additional programs.
• Possess strong presentation and communication skills and be comfortable speaking in small and large groups.
• Plan and lead group educational sessions and discussions on assigned health topics, virtually and in-person (program-specific).
• Understand and be part of the community being served and have experience in community work, education, health care, or related field (preferred).
• Have the ability to read, write, and speak both Spanish and English; fluency in spoken Spanish is required.
• Possess Information Technology skills with proficiency in using laptops, smartphones, internet/online application systems, Microsoft Office, etc.

As you join us in our work as a full-time regular employee, the following benefits begin on your first day of employment:
• MHP Salud covers a portion of health care premiums for employee only, employee plus 1, and employee plus family plans. We pay 100% of the employees’ dental and vision plans, with the option to add coverage for dependents.
• We provide employer-paid life insurance and offer you the ability to add more for yourself and your spouse and children and carry excellent employer-paid long-term disability insurance for our employees.
• You are immediately vested in our 401K retirement plan with an employer contribution of 3 % of your salary with an additional 2% if matched by you.

Salary Range: $20.50-25.25 per hour, DOE
