For over 35 years, MHP Salud has implemented a variety of Community Health Worker (CHW)-led programs that promote healthy eating and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. While these programs are known to increase healthy habits for individuals and families, they can also have a strong financial impact on your organization and community. MHP Salud has determined a return on investment (ROI) of $2.19-$3.09 for every $1 invested in its CHW-led programs that promote healthy living. This workshop will provide team members with tips, insights, information, and resources to implement your own CHW-led healthy living program.
Overview
The 4-hour healthy living workshop is led by an expert MHP Salud employee that has extensive insight on our successful CHW-led healthy living programs. The workshop includes information and resources that will help your organization develop a program plan and gain a better understanding of how every piece of your organization can be involved.
The workshop can be offered online or in-person at a location of your choosing. It includes a series of team-based exercises, organizational assessments, and other collaborative activities. At its conclusion, your organization will have a plan to identify the specific roles Community Health Workers and other team members will play in your organization’s program. Note, in order to incorporate multiple perspectives into your program plan it is recommended that a variety of staff participate, including Community Health Workers, supervisors, and even C-suite professionals.

Schedule a Workshop
Each workshop lasts 4 hours and can be provided as a live, fully interactive virtual training for $889 with a maximum of 10 participants, or on-site at the location of your choice for $2,709* including all travel costs, with a maximum of 20 participants.
*Includes all travel costs for a training location within the continental United States. Note: travel costs will be prorated if multiple on-site training sessions are purchased for the same location and time period.
