ORLANDO, FL – December 22, 2023 — As we conclude our 40th-anniversary celebration at MHP Salud, I want to sincerely thank our community partners and friends for an extraordinary year of growth and achievement in 2023. Reflecting on the past year, we are proud to highlight some significant milestones that have propelled us forward.

We further solidified our commitment to communities in Florida by launching our CHW Training Program. This is a step to broaden the CHW profession by offering apprenticeship opportunities and creating new pathways to CHW certification with organizations statewide. To support our expansion, we opened our office in Orlando, giving our staff, partners, and community members a safe and permanent place to meet.

Our Navigator program continued to make significant strides in Texas, providing crucial support and resources to enhance community health to thousands of individuals. Through our CHW-led initiatives, we have connected with over 100,000 individuals, delivering essential health messages and services that empower communities to lead healthier lives.

Our commitment to building healthy communities remains unwavering, and in the new year, we look forward to working with local leaders, community partners, and the expanding CHW workforce.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for all of the support we received during our 40th celebration! We eagerly anticipate the opportunities and challenges 2024 will bring and look forward to another decade of impact and collaboration.
