MHP Salud invites your organization to access the COVID-19 Directory for Community Health Workers (CHWs). In this directory, you can access educational resources focused on CHW and COVID-19 interventions for Latino and Farmworker Communities.
MHP Salud has been awarded $15,000 in funding by the Knapp Community Care Foundation to provide COVID-19 emergency care supplies to hundreds of our project participants that reside in the Rio Grande Valley. The funding will allow Community Health Workers (CHWs) to prepare kits with face masks, hand sanitizer, a water bottle, mesh bags, educational materials, and other vital supplies.
Is your organization or health center currently looking to hire a Community Health Worker (CHW)? We've developed five new resources to help your organization avoid the common pitfalls that may occur when beginning the hiring process.
The Farmworker Health Network (FHN) stands with everyone impacted by a coronavirus (COVID-19), especially health providers and patients from special and vulnerable populations. In a consolidated effort to bring to you the latest updates, the FHN is sending biweekly newsletters with resources and information to keep you informed and assist you in continuing to serve your patient population. Information related to this pandemic changes daily, so we also encourage you to visit the CDC’s website for additional updates that may impact your specific service areas.
